Privacy notice

This explains what the website collects when you book, write to us, or browse. Have it checked against the way you actually store enquiries before you rely on it.

What we collect

Booking and contact forms ask for your name, phone number, email, the vehicle location, and the details of the job. That information is used to confirm and carry out the visit, or to reply to your message. It is stored with the enquiry so the workshop can see what was asked.

The service guide in the corner of the page answers from the text you type. Those messages stay in your browser for the visit. They are not sent to a chat provider.

Maps

Booking and contact pages embed Google Maps so you can see the postcode or the service area. Google receives the usual technical data when that map loads, under Google’s own terms. The map is there to check a location, not to track a vehicle.

Analytics and search

If a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, pages send anonymous usage data to Google so we can see which services people read. If a Search Console verification code is configured, it only proves to Google that this site is yours. Neither is switched on until those values are set.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept long enough to complete the job, handle a complaint, and meet tax and warranty record-keeping. You can ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion where the law allows, by emailing hello@westcountrytires.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Sharing

We do not sell enquiry data. A payment taken on the day of the job is handled by the card terminal in the van, not by this website. We share details with a supplier only when a part has to be ordered for your vehicle.

Cookies

The site itself does not set advertising cookies. Google Analytics, if enabled, and the Maps embed may set cookies under their own policies. You can block third-party cookies in your browser without losing the booking form.
